Croup exposure

So my daughter has had this cough that keeps her up at night for about 2-3 days now. At first it was more at night now it’s all day. She 1 by the way. Daycare notified me yesterday of croup exposure in the classroom. My daughter is still laughing trying to walk around and play so I was just giving her zarbees for the cough and her nebulizer to help. Today she’s not eating much and keeps vomiting what I think is mucous every time she coughs a lot. I feel horrible. She’s not wheezing and she does t have a fever just this cough. I mean she can’t really talk so idk if something hurts. But has anyone been through this and have some insight?
