Must be my Canadian brain but not sure what math you guys are teaching kids in the usa lol. Anyone wanna give a actual reason why one of your states is banning math books...my nephew live in Maine and I don't recall him saying anything about this when he talks to me about math haha.

This is all a ridiculous Republican boogeyman talking point.
CRT is not taught in schools, but they need fear and anger to rally their highly reactionary base for elections. They are the same as the extremists that other countries are suffering with at this time. They just get a larger platform because it's so widely publicized in the US allowing the whole world to watch the "Schmidt" show.
Further the majority of curriculum books for the country come from Texas another republican state due solely to the massive (an illegal) gerrymandering in the state
