Has anyone take estradiol during pregnancy?

My doctor prescribed me estradiol and progesterone for this pregnancy since I've had a recent miscarriage with unknown reasons. I have taken progesterone during my first successful pregnancy. I have never taken estradiol and was wondering if anyone's had experience with it and how their pregnancy went??

I stopped the estradiol and continued only the progesterone

She drew an estrogen level and said I could start it just in case but since It is not through a fertility clinic or IVF I feel more hesitant taking it.

I’m taking it now with my IVF pregnancy. Currently 9+2 and everything seems ok so far 🤷🏻‍♀️. Are they going to be monitoring your levels? I started before my transfer to thicken my lining (although I’ve never had issues with my lining or low E2 levels— it’s just part of the protocol). We started tapering my dose a week and a half ago. It’s not something you’ll need to be on long-term since the placenta takes over toward the middle to end of the first trimester.
