Late period- combination pill

I’m posting to see if anyone has had the same experience.

I was on the pill for 6 months and I started spotting very frequently so I decided to give my body a break. I stopped taking the pill for two weeks and then started back. However, I have not gotten a period since. My last period started May 3rd (when I decided to completely stop taking the pills). There’s zero chance I am pregnant. But I was wondering if the shift in hormones due to me stopping then starting again can be the reason for my delayed period. Thank you for any and all answers!
