Pretty sure my 3 month old has his first cold. Mainly just very congested. Occasional cough, but pediatrician said his lungs sounded clear, and his ears and throat looked good. So the cough is probably just mucus draining especially when he’s on his back. We contact napped all day and he stayed elevated. Now bedtime has rolled around. I did our normal routine and included the frida baby vapor rub and his humidifier on full blast. Took him much longer to settle but is finally asleep. I’m thinking I’m in for a rough night. My mom told me to put something under his mattress to elevate him, but is that safe? I feel terrible and want to make him as comfortable as possible but not sure what else I can do when it comes to night time. I’ve used the frida nose sucker all day and also let him sit in the bathroom with the shower steam a few times during the day. Any advice is appreciated.
