Could my friends ghost come home with me?

I know this is something a lot of people don’t believe it, but for those who do, or have experience, please tell me what you think. 
My friend has a ghost in her house.  The ghost is fairly new to her house, she’s been living there for about 6 years, and the ghost just came within the last year. 
The ghost is not mean, he/she just walks around in the middle of the night, opens and closes cabinets, occasionally fiddles with her things.  
I’m going there next weekend, and I’m nervous the ghost will come home with me.  I usually wouldn’t think this, but she believes the ghost came from someone else’s house, and is very very adamant the ghost has not been in her house since she moved in. 
Do house ghosts do this? I always assumed if a house was haunted, the ghost stayed in that house.  But since this is a traveling ghost, would I have to be worried it will come home with me?

They usually attach to a person or stay where they passed. 
They don’t typically transfer from person to person. 
That ghost has likely always been there but didn’t feel the need to communicate until now. 
Or it’s a new ghost attached to your friend. 
Highly unlikely it’d come home with you.

As long as you never bring anything out of that house and take it with you to your own house you should be fine. Also, work on protecting yourself before you go to her house. Imagine a ball of white light in front of you and imagine it expanding all around you like a protective shield. Covering your entire body. The more your practice this the easier it will be to do. If you pray you could also say some prayers out loud or in your head before u go over there. Also, if this isn’t in fact a ghost then it could follow you home. Let’s just hope it’s def a ghost. Your going to be fine. I did have something follow me home once. It wasn’t a fun time in my life. It was removed by smudging the house. Or my mind was convinced it left. Doesn’t really matter either way cuz whatever it was no longer bothered me anymore.

Spirits attach themselves to objects. So it might not be attached to your friends house but an Object she owns. Like something she bought at a thrift store that she doesn’t know it’s history

Super unlikely the ghost will come home with you. Generally it stays at the place its at or wants to attach to a weak person. So I guess if you end up going over there make sure you aren't weak Lol!

I wouldn’t worry about it. I believe in ghosts because I had an experience before at my friends house. He always told me his house was haunted and I didn’t really believe it until I experienced it myself 😳 I never had a ghost come home with me though and I had visited that house countless times.

Honestly I don't believe in ghosts so my response should be taken with a grain of salt, but I didn't think that ghosts wander about to random people's houses. Like mayyyybe he came to her house because it had meaning to him, but you/your house wouldn't mean anything to him so he wouldn't follow you home.
