Trying to conceive after ectopic pregnancy

Back in January I had an ectopic pregnancy at 6 weeks pregnant. It hurt because I lost my babies and my right tube. Since then I’ve been trying but for some reason when I ovulate it feels like I’m ovulating on the right side where the tube used to be is this normal? I know I can’t get pregnant on the right side but why does this keep happening to me? Any of you ladies had this happen before and if so what did you do? I just want to ovulate from the left side this month and I’m praying I do.
