Me and my baby daddy has broken up recently we’re quite young 18 and 19. He still hasn’t told his parents yet and I am now 12 weeks. Everyone is saying I should message them instead as whenever I bring it up he makes excuses not to tell them yet. I have wrote a message to his mother but I haven’t sent it yet I’m not sure if I should or not?

Have you asked him why he’s keeping this from them? I assume you’re both still living at home on your parents insurance and you need his financial help? Not only that but you’ll need their help period? Why hasn’t he told them? Has he said?

Maybe he wanted to make sure you were in the clear, meaning he didn’t want to tell them anything in case you miscarried, he probably just doesn’t want to complicate things. So they don’t know that you broke up and that you’re pregnant? Maybe he’s holding on hoping that you can get back together? Or maybe he doesn’t want to tell them at all and who knows what the relationship is like with his parents. Me personally my mother is a horrible person, I don’t tell her anything I’ve been with my partner a year and 10 months. I keep my distance to myself. She didn’t find out until last year that I had two miscarriages in 2014 and 15. My mother is the queen of flipping out and over reacting, she’s a narcissist who makes me feel like shit on the norm. So she’s the last person I would tell anything too. Maybe he’s in a similar position. Who knows.￼￼
