Hopefully not a stupid question!

To back tract a minute, I ovulated on April 15th and then started light spotting on April 21st at 7dpo. I thought for sure it was implantation because it lasted 3 days and then stopped (negative test) but came back for a couple more days. I had a total of 7 days with very light pinkish brown spotting. Keep in mind that my bbt continued to rise since the first day of spotting and has yet to come back down!

Side note: I have insanely long and heavy periods so that’s why I truly don’t think it was my period but I’m confused!

My question is has anyone experienced this and ended up being pregnant or was there another cause for it???
