Low Grade Fever - Question

I have a terrible cough and really bad sore throat and just feel pretty lousy. I just took my temperature and it’s 99.2. Normally I wouldn’t care and just truck through but since I’m 10.5 weeks pregnant I’m a little worried because I never got even a slight fever with my first pregnancy.

I called my doctor and the nurse said taking Tylenol to bring down the fever is fine. I’m hesitant, but don’t want my fever to get over 100. Have any of you taken Tylenol during pregnancy to reduce a low grade fever?
