Make it make sense 😂

So my hubby and I have one child already, she’s 4. And we’ve always said we were 1 and done kind of people. I didn’t want anymore and neither did he. We just recently moved because he got a new job and a big promotion so we were very happy with the way things were… until 2 months ago when my period was late 4 days. I was like “honey it’s nothing, this has happened before, we’re good”. Istg I’ve never seen two darker pink lines in my entire life. I cried. He cried. (Not happy tears lol) We have obviously come to terms with this and we are very happy about it now but here comes the crazy part.. how it happened!

Every single month since my daughter was an infant, we’ve always “had some fun” when my period ends. Aka, he lets the load flow. And we’ve NEVER had a scare nor any issues. It was 1 day after my period ended. ONE DAY! I kid you not. And it was the only day I allowed him to cuz I mean how tf can I be close to ovulation right? Everyday after, we did use protection.

And now here I am 8 weeks pregnant and still confused how it happened 🤣. Either his sperm is an army of survivors or the lord is out to get me 😂😂

I had to share in case anyone else has had this experience. Maybe someone with a health degree can explain how this shit happened 😅
