Telling people NO and seeing their reaction

I find it funny those people who debate everything. They make everything they say sound so credible by reading a random article online that might not even be from a reliable source and then sputing out information to prove that your wrong. I currently have a housemate like this and for the longest time, I felt bad because my housemate would debate every little thing (ex. Does quinoa cause inflammation or not) and insist that I am wrong. He would not do it in a kind manner, but in the most annoying way possible. Then I started hearing from other friends that he was like this and they rolled their eyes.

Funny thing so then recently, he brought up another stupid thing to debate: telling me why I am sick with breathing difficulties. He tells me he read another article online and -blah blah blah- is the reason i am sick. He told me that whatever I just said about the sickness is wrong.

All I said was, "No." And he was stunned 🤣

then I told him, I read -dah dah dah- from an article and got professional opinion from a pulmonary specialist and an MD. Reaction is priceless

You should try it sometime. Cracks me up.

Honestly I cannot even remember what stupid stuff he and I said because he debates everything like multiple times a day. I sometimes lock myself in my room or cut the convo short to avoid it, or plainly just say NO. Have fun! 🤣
