Should formula go to border centers ?

I cannot believe I'm seeing this debated on other apps ... especially by so called prolife Republicans.  
People are saying that we shouldn't be giving formula to babies who are being held in border facilities. And that the formula shortage is due to us sending them formula ? People are saying we need to take that formula for 'real American babies '!?!  I'm just fucking flabbergasted.  Fox news blabbing on that Biden is 'asleep at the wheel ' when it's legally required that we provide formula to these babies because they can't get it any other way and will DIE

While they might think it isn’t, because when those words are spoken - we only think of obvious hateful racist statements.
But white supremacy is a spectrum. What they are REALLY saying, is that those non-white children are less important.

Before even addressing the moral answer....it is the law. Legally the babies, kids, detainees, etc at the border need to be fed. Now morally, they are BABIES. Yes the babies need fed. All babies need fed and that includes babies in border centers. Any of the people who think that we should be letting those babies starve because they are immigrants just block me on this app now because I want noting to do with any human who thinks that. There are several issues creating the formula shortage and if people looked beyond FoxNews headlines it would be easy to see it isn't an easy 1 part issue. They are working to get more formula but things like that can't happen at a snap and also people going ro several stores bulk buying all the formula they can find just incase isn't helping. I was traveling for work last week and while in Target buying some hygiene stuff I forgot at home I was in line behind a lady who was openly bragging about that target being her 15th store that day and she had filled her car with all the formula she was able. And when a very disgusted mom with a baby asked how she even managed to do that with store limits she proudly stated she'd go in buy the amount then go out out it in her car and go back in and buy the alloted amount. Hopefully some of the issues production amd supply chain wise can be fixed as well as things that have helped cause it in the past get fixed but if you are mass buying formula....stop. we saw how that worked with tp in 2020. Sally freaking out  and going to Costco and buying a pallet of tp wasn't needed nor is trying to fill your car with formula for whatever reason. But a baby at the border, a baby in the Hamptons, a baby in a suburb in LA, a baby in a farmhouse in Iowa...they all need fed and if you think any baby deserves to starve you're trash.

All babies need the formula.  They should be focusing their efforts on solving the shortage, not pointing fingers.  There has to be something that can be done by those with much deeper pockets than all of us to increase the production of formula so that ALL babies can fall asleep with full bellies.😞

Babies at the border deserve formula and American families deserve formula too. 
Personally, I think it should not all be shipped there while leaving our shelves bare. There needs to be balance. For ALL babies. 
Formula manufacturers need to get into gear and ramp up supply to meet demand. FDA needs to figure out how to expedite the Similac manufacturing plant investigation to allow production again. Americans need to stop hoarding formula so there’s enough for other families. Stores need to put limits on containers that can be purchased daily and quit increasing the prices drastically. 
This issue is bigger than Republicans and babies at the border. 
Also, I wish y’all would stop talking so much shit about Republicans and Conservatives just because you read something from Fox. Fox doesn’t represent all of our thoughts and feelings. Does it hurt y’all to jump to such ridiculous conclusions all the time?

First of all, Fox News doesn’t represent the opinions and thoughts of Republicans and conservatives. They are a propaganda machine just like any other mainstream media platform.
That said, every baby that can’t be breast fed needs formula. There needs to be equal distribution and it’s unbelievable to me that it’s disregarded to the public. Psaki to dismiss it while speaking to the press is silly to me. 
I’m due any day and I was able to order organic formulas online a few days ago with no issues.
