Concerned about irritation

hey everyone! im just a bit concerned because ever since my period started i’ve been feeling irritated and itchy. im not too sure why. my period ended today and a majority of the irritation went away but im still feeling it a tiny bit. i went to go check down there and there’s no sign of a yeast infection either. im just not too sure what it is because this never happened to me before. im thinking maybe it’s because im more sexually active than i ever have been ??? im not too sure but yea some insight would be helpful! :)
