22 weeks, barely showing???

How do you guys deal with not showing? EVERYONE keeps making comments ab how I don’t look pregnant and it makes me feel some type of way… like I know she’s in there but still! This is my first pregnancy so idk why everyone expects me to be huge by now… and I’ve gained about 8 pounds.

I had the same issue first time around and literally constantly was told I don’t look pregnant until about 2 weeks prior to delivering her (34 weeks). This time around I’m annoyed about all the comments that I’m showing so much faster and I’m so much bigger this time around when in reality I weigh 171 pounds which was the exact same weight I had at 22 weeks with my daughter. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My body is just probably showing baby more because it’s been stretched. No matter what people just seem to be unable to keep comments to themselves.

This was me with my first. I didn't really show until 26-28 weeks. Comments my entire pregnant about how small I was. Baby was a perfectly average 7.5 lbs. People think it's a compliment bc our society values small body sizes but it can really start to make you paranoid. As long as your doc had no concerns you're doing great and try to block out all those unnecessary comments.

I’m preg with my 2nd and I’m the same way last time and this time around. I really started to pop in the 3rd trimester with my 1st! I know what you mean though, it’s weird being in this weird in between phase and people want to comment whether you are or aren’t lol.

I’m pregnant with my 3rd and I barely show until I’m like 30weeks. I consider myself lucky because I’m not huge, I barely get any stretch marks. I get comments about how tiny I am now I’m like whatever and others tell me I’m lucky so I don’t really care what people say anymore. As long as I feel my baby move I’m happy

Every body is different. I’ve also only gained 8 pounds and have a very obvious belly - but I’ll be 25 weeks tmrw. Don’t worry mama it’ll come! Then the comments won’t stop about “are you sure it’s not twins?” And “you have HOW MUCH longer?!” 😂😂😂 everyone just always thinks it’s okay to comment on your body whether you’re big or small.

Same I can tell I gain weight but I don’t really look pregnant I love it in a way bc I haven’t broadcast it but I have to remind myself not to compare bumps !!

With my first I didn't show until 29 weeks. I quite liked it so I could hide it. But I was also only 18 and teh pregnancy wasn't planned. 😅
