UTI and Period

Sorry for the TMI, but wondering if anyone has gone through something similar. Does a UTI affect period? My periods are very irregular…. So Beginning of this month, I was supposed to get my period, I instead had a UTI. I had light pink spotting, but unsure if that was from the UTI or from my period. (Usually my periods are heavy though)… TMI, but I did have tons of clear slimy discharge. I did take antibiotics. Fast forward to now, I still haven’t gotten my period. I took two pregnancy tests a few days apart, but they were negative. I am freaking out because my youngest just turned 6 months old, and my pregnancy was high risk. I cannot have another baby right now. I am scared to take another pregnancy test.
