Do you think the Gilgo beach serial killer will ever be caught??

Question

Sooooo kind of piggy backing off the post last night are all cops bad-  it had me thinking about the gilgo beach serial killer.  
Do you think they will ever be caught? 
The post reminded me last night of this because a lot of people suspect that the police are involved in the murders.  Which I think is true.  
What do you guys think? Will this ever be solved? 
If you are familiar with the case, do you think the police are involved?

I don’t believe that all of the bodies they found are even necessarily all connected to the same killer. It is such a remote location and was clearly an easy place to dispose of bodies. I used to drive Ocean Parkway every afternoon to avoid traffic on the other busier parkway and there were many times that I would drive for miles without seeing another car in the middle of the afternoon/beginning of rush hour. At night that parkway is even more desolate and a bunch of the houses near there are seasonal so it is easy for cars to go unnoticed. So even if they find the killer for some of them victims I don’t think they will find the killer of all of them. And if Shannon Gilbert didn’t disappear I don’t think those bodies would have ever even been found.

I don’t know if one killer is responsible for all of the deaths and if so I do not know if that person will ever be held responsible. It’s hard to say if Burke has anything to do with this, but he sure does look bad. If you haven’t heard the full audio of Shannon Gilbert’s 911 call, listen to it.

I don’t think they’ll ever find the killer. It looks like it’d be the same as they never found the zodiac killer. They only have a drawing of what that dude possibly looked like. 
I also think if there was more evidence then maybe they would find the person.

I voted yes, because I believe what's done in the dark always comes to the light. When I looked it up it looks like they already know who did it. If not, it's someone related to him based on DNA. But seeing how the suspect has already be convicted of several other murders it's likely him.
