Venting and not sure where else to post this

Ok ladies I need to vent and put my feelings out there and I don’t know where else to do this. I’m not looking for a debate or to talk politics. I just want to share my thoughts and don’t know where else I can post this without feeling judged.

I am a mom, I am a gun owner, and I am a former educator. As a mom I feel it is my right to protect myself and my babies. As a gun owner I feel it is my right to own firearms. As a former educator I feel that we need change and something needs to be done. What that is, I have no idea. I’ve been in emergency lockdowns and scared for my life and my students lives. I can’t even wrap my head around how the parents of those children who lost their lives today are feeling. Schools should be a safe place, somewhere you don’t need to worry if your child will come home or not. On the flip side so should grocery stores and movie theaters which are places I’m more comfortable being when I’m carrying.

I find myself in a position where I don’t know where I stand. I want change but I don’t know what that is. All I know is that my heart breaks for all those affected by todays tragedy and prayers simply aren’t enough 💔
