How hard is it to homeschool?

I’ve been thinking about this for some time and now I’m more convinced that I should 😕 I have one high school, middle school, and a first grader, I also have a 2 year old and a 6 month old at home. I’m a stay at home and mom we have been really blessed my husband has a good job which allows me to be a full time mom to my kids but I have a question for the moms who do homeschool. Is it easy or hard? Would it be hard to homeschool 3 kids while taking care of a toddler and a baby? Is that even possible?

Yes, it would definitely be hard, especially with that age span and if you have no background in education. Doesn’t mean it’s not doable,  but the simple truth is that it would be hard.

If you're in the U.S., there is a free online public school called Connections Academy. I am my daughter's learning coach. I don't have to worry with lesson plans. There is tutoring if she needs it. She has done so good online compared to brick and mortar schools. I can switch her vacation days if I need to. If she misses a day, she can make that day up rather than being absent.

I think that depends a lot on the person.
For me it would be too hard. I just wouldn't be able to. I can't even structure my own day properly let alone several kids and plan their school.
I've seen a lot online on different social media give advice on how to do it or at least share how they do it. I would start by looking into that tk get an idea.

Homeschooling is amazing, I was homeschooled and likely will with my kiddo (s). Of course it's challenging. If it was "easy" a lot more people would probably do it. 
Tbh, I think taking care of 5 kids would be overwhelming and that's without schooling them. But that may not apply to you if you're used to taking care of 5 kiddos. I have 1 and only plan to have 2 at most.
Lots of people are very successful and homeschooling can be amazing. I was able to train 6 days a week as a dancer, take piano lessons and have wonderful life experiences and tutors that I would not have otherwise had in traditional school. You also get a lot more one on one attention!

Definitely look into online school for the older children. And they can still do fun activities on the weekends sports,etc. I homeschool younger kids 6and 7year old. My 4 year old has a busy basket that has workbooks, coloring pages, practice line work, alphabets and a book for matching and memory. I also do 30mins of abc mouse a day for all 3. I plan to have tutoring for math when their older since Math is my weakness always have been.

My mom had five of us, now ranging in ages from 27-15….she homeschooled all of us. It’s definitely a commitment and a full time responsibility. But it’s so worth it! I wouldn’t change it for anything, one of my sisters decided she wanted to go to public school for high school so she didn’t graduate from being homeschooled. For the rest of us, we were enrolled in online learning through BJU homesat for high school. Which allowed us to all get actual diplomas from a real school. I think there’s a ton of benefits to homeschooling, but it definitely will take a lot of commitment on your end

Not hard at all.
All you need is a lesson plan, type of curriculum and time. 
For kids through elementary all thats needed is reading writing and arithmetics for the first 5 years.
Ideally you want to teach science and history, but they aren't needed, at least that's all thats actually required here in California.
I will be paying for a homeschoom where I am 95 percent in control all they do is get me to fill out an honest ing report card. All the teaching is up to me and the curriculum I choose is up to me they just report I said he knows these things each year.
Im really happy and excited and even though we dont start school til 20224 I already do structured schooling 3-4 times a week for 30min to an hour on school days. I try to meet his needs and qork around his attention span and I tailor his education specially. His sister is also in school with him but shes a year younger. Shes almost caught up to him.

I've watched my sister homeschool her 3 children of all ages. She had a baby and a toddler when her oldest started kindergarten and now he's in highschool. She's done an incredible job. Most of her friends are homeschool families with multiple children and they all do great even with babies and toddlers.
I will be homeschooling my children as well. 
You'll learn and adjust and you will get the hang of it. There are homeschool groups all around that would be helpful to get involved in if you do homeschool so you have support from other parents going through the same thing.

Totally possible with structure and planning, depending on the needs levels of your kids. My mom homeschooled 3 of us and we all excelled in University, and have our own businesses now. Without the flexibility of homeschooling, we wouldn't have been able to pursue our passions. Find a local support group and go for it! It's also an option to partly homeschool, if only some of your kids enjoy it. For instance, we did sports with the local schools, and my brother joined public school for his grad year.
