Cant seem to control my blood sugar
So i have gestational diabetes and been regulating with meals.
Because my Gyn said baby is between 10-75% my diabetologist said my ssugar after a meal shouldnt be more than 140. And for the past weeks, been able to keep it for most meals below 140.
Well now the hospital said baby is 88% and recommended a csection and insuline. So now have to keep my sugars below 120.
I have failed to regulate this with meals. Was told to not cut out carbs.
I ate 1 small irish with fish and salad and sugar was 130... 1 irish with lots of vegetables ->130. Then less than ⅛ of a tiny water melon with nuts and it shot to 164!!! I was told nuts help regulate and melon doesnt rise sugars, it is one of the only fruits i can eat.
Like 1 irish. I dont even want to start with rice.
At this point it seems like i wont escape insulin. Am 34 weeks and will have a csection at 39 weeks.
