Hello I’m very confused on what to do, and what the next step should be. Long story short… my 16th birthday is in July 2022 and planned on going to Tennessee (which is happening) ORIGINALLY it was only supposed to be my parents, my bf, and me! Wellll things took a turn and now my sister and nephew are going, and personally I don’t really want them to go ( Because I know something isn’t going to go right and from past experiences) just because all they do is argue and I don’t really get along with my nephew at all! and I don’t want to listen to them the whole week we are in Tennessee. I DIDNT EVEN INVITE THEM, my mom claims that I was the one that invited them which wouldn’t make sense if I would much rather it be my parents, my bf, and me. I have brought it up to my mom multiple times and she just blows it off and seems like she doesn’t listen to me or care about my feelings EVEN THO ITS MY 16th BIRTHDAY. So to me it feels like she much rather have me pissed off on my birthday trip than hurt my sisters feelings by telling them they can’t go. My mom is the sensitive type and that is what is making me hesitate on saying something again.

Also, my sister is 28 and she mooches off my parents, so I feel like my parents are going to end up paying for stuff for my sister and nephew, which wouldn’t be fair AT ALL when shes capable of paying for herself and my nephew.

It has really been stressing me out ever since my mom has brought it up to me, part of me just thinks I should come out and say I don’t want them going, and part of me doesn’t know what to do. IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HEAR IT!
