Does this sound wrong? Like messed up

So I haven’t seen my dad in about a few weeks just cause I have been busy & so has he (my dad). I want to say the last time I saw him was Mother’s Day weekend. & I have texted him. I texted my dad today just to see if he was going to be home. My bf takes our car to work Mon-Saturday so I’m usually home. I wanted to see my dad today & I asked my bf & he wanted to come home to relax (understandable since he works 6 days. But then he has the audacity to ask me if my dad can watch our child tomorrow morning so we can have us time. I don’t mind but when you don’t want to go over & I know if I say I’m going to go over to my dads I have a feeling he will either complain about wasting gas or me & our daughter not spending time with him. I don’t like asking anybody to watch my daughter if I don’t go & visit it feels rude & also inconsiderate especially if I’m only going over to ask him to watch her & the only time I go over. It sounds messed up to me. But when I ask my bf to ask his aunt he said no & she doesn’t work. How does this sound?? I know my dad doesn’t mind but I don’t want to look like the daughter that just ask for favors & don’t go visit. Should I just still ask him?
