Best hiding place for a diary?

I'm putting pen to paper to vent these days but I can't risk anyone finding my diary. Where's a good hiding place? Do you think in the couch cushion cover is a good place (the seated part)? It's a soft cover book I have so it won't like, feel weird.

I always tell everyone. Dont write down your secrets. Id hide mine behind my drawers and my sister still found mine.

Literally no where is safe, unless you get a safe to put it in. 
What about writing it down then burning or shredding the pages?

Don’t put it under your mattress and don’t put it in the bottom of a drawer. Those are common places and it will be found. In the zipper part of a couch cushion might be an OK idea as long as that couch is in your room and as long as your family members or roommates won’t be taking those covers off to wash them for you. If you have a loose floorboard, or a loose piece of rug that you can hide some thing underneath, or even a loose ceiling tile. Those are the best places.￼

I had a small set of storage drawers at the bottom of my closet and would hide stuff under that

If you have a big Teddy and don't mind cutting it, make a slit in the bottom to slip it in, put it ontop of your wardrobe or somewhere high that noone will happen to pick it and realise there's a book inside. I used to do that with some things 😅
