Ivf failure- so devastated!

It was my first IVF cycle. I am 38, I’ve been diagnosed in unexplained infertility. The doctor put me on menopur 75 mg and rekovelle, then cetrotide was added. I had 9 antral follicle count.. I ended up with 4 growing up to STIM day 8, I went in today which is STIM day 10 for infrasound and blood work, only 2 were of 1.9 in size and the rest didnt grow further. The nurse said I can try more stims and see what happens or cancel the cycle. I opted for cancelling. I don’t understand this I was very optimistic and nurse in my early stims days was very encouraging as well. I am beyond disappointed at my body. Just in February when I did the cycle monitoring I had 16 follicles!! I did have covid in April, I am not sure of this played a part in this. Has anyone gone through this? I am just so upset :(
