What’s the safest way ? What do you guys think?

Soo we bought a mobile home and we still need a certain amount to pay it off to the owner so this will be our first monthly payment to him. He doesn’t live far from us maybe like 20 mins but everyone works and are very busy. What’s the safest way & also keep track of our money? I asked the owner how he wanted the first payment he said through a money order and gave me his address. I told my husband wouldn’t it be better to send it through his bank account? Like we will still have proof we send it to him plus the amount as well through the bank. We are new here any tips or ideas?
