Boy mamas, how do your sons urinate?

Question

Those of you with sons. How do they relieve themselves? Do they stand, sit, or do both or are they still in diapers? If they stand to pee, how did you teach them?
Also, of potty trained. Do they wear diapers for visits or trips?

Daycare helped teach my son to stand and I'm honestly not a 100 percent sure how. But before he did we were somewhere without bathrooms and my husband had to also show him how to outside a couple of times, which might be helpful for daddy to help yours stand. My son was always peeing on himself sitting down so standing is so much easier. He can really do the whole thing by himself now standing it's so much easier

My son sits at home and stands in school.  But that’s because in school they have toddler size toilets.  He’s fully trained.  No pull ups during travel.

When we’re inside he’ll sit on the potty and pee, if we’re outside then he’ll stand. We only use pull ups at night- going to work on that next

He sits but recently has learned to pee while standing (he cant quite reach the toilet yet). Outside he always pees standing. When he was potty training we would put him in a diaper if we went out of the house the first week or two then nothing, but that was 18 months ago.

My son sits to pee and we only use diapers for nap and bedtime. We haven’t traveled super far in the car yet, but will have a 5 hour trip in July. I haven’t decided if we will put him in a diaper when it’s close to nap time because he will probably have an accident if he falls asleep. For regular day-to-day things, he’s been fine in underwear and also hasn’t had an accident while out. He almost seems more diligent about going potty when we are out.

My kid was more comfortable standing so we started to pee outside, he’d pull down his pants and just pee. Then I bought a toddler urinal and told him to aim for the sticker. He actually prefers it over the little potty during the day

Mine has started to stand sometimes but will still sit occasionally. He just started doing it out of nowhere.

Sits & stands depending on his mood. I prefer sitting bc it’s less messy 🙃 No pull-ups on trips/naps/bedtime.

My son mostly sits to pee, but has somehow taught himself to stand and pee all by himself. So he will mostly sit to pee BUT once or twice during the day he will stand. *He will be 3 in 3 weeks*

Mine will only stand to pee now, even though we potty trained sitting. As soon as he was tall enough, he was stoked to pee like dad. He also owes outside all the time. I’d start with peeing on fun things in your backyard, and having dad show him how he pees.
