WORST ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT !

o today I had my first Prenatal visit, I am 11 weeks and 3 days.

So to shorten my story, I waited 1 hr and 45 mins to be seen, I have a 2 yr old and 7 mos old, now because dad was busy all day I had to bring them along with me, now I am a CMA and studying to be a RN so first things first when you come into a room you shouldn’t see any of the last patients info, the MA brings the ultrasound equipment in the room and what do I see someone else ultrasound INFO AND ALL!

So I wait my 7mos old starts crying and getting irritated because it’s nap time now, the doctor comes In and tells me lay back so she can do my Pap smear. NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A ROUGH PAP SMEAR, it felt like she was scraping my cervix with a steak knife,. I was literally clinching my eyes teeth hands just holding my head she tells me to relax and put my gas on my stomach, it just seems like it made it worse. During the procedure she asks me when is the last time you had sex? (IVE NEVER BEEN ASKED THAT QUESTION EVER!!!!) So it took more than 3mins to complete this process. So she proceeds to manually check my uterus and was even rough with this process it felt more like 4 fingers instead of 2 and was just poking her hands around. So after this excruciating experience on to the ultrasound. She puts the gel on and then takes forever to find the baby, so when she sees the baby. she says you see the heartbeat, I said I don’t see anything, and then she takes a scan. Then she says you see the baby moving I said yea, she says okay and takes another scan gives me one copy. Now when she does the measurements both are off, hers says 9 weeks 3 days and mines has 10 weeks and 2 days. She then proceeds and says well I see you got a lot going on ( she was referring to my babies) so next time we will do an over the phone appt. And walks out I WAS SOO PISSED I WALKED OUT! I didn’t get an EDD, I didn’t get asked proper questions. Just a lousy pick and that’s it.
