Im 38 weeks pregnant. Have two teens. So im a little hormonal.

One is 13. (Other is nearly 16 and yes this is relevant) and she asked for a buzz hair cut a few days ago. I told her to sit on it and look at different styles, to see what else was out there (in the buzz cut area) as she has HORRIBLE subboric dermatitis; short hair will show it all. So im thinking maybe something like the musician P!NK has, ya know? And sent her a link of 18 diff buzz cut styles. Then we'd go Friday to get it done.

(Also... She starts highschool this fall. And I don't want her to get made fun of for her dermatitis. And she's in therapy for other reasons. She is strong but I don't want nothing added onto her to stress her out.)

So I went to go tell her goodnight. And I seen her hair looked odd.

SHE BUZZED OFF JUST HER BANGS!! Nothing else!! I asked her why, and her response was simply "I got tired of having them." She asked if something was wrong.

Instead of screaming or getting angry, I said okay *kids name*. I love you and goodnight. She replied love you goodnight. Im sure she seen I wasn't thrilled but tried my best to keep my composure.

My husband doesn't know and I know he's gonna freak.

I have no idea how to fix this hair style besides buzz cutting it. And I feel the only reason she wanted one, was she was embarrassed to tell me that she cut them so short and hid them so well for the last 3-4 days (has a side part and thick hair that goes to almost the middle of her back).

We have court for her to testify in July. Her hair doesn't grow that fast, so just waiting for them to grow out isn't an option (as I have a feeling many of my friends will suggest!).

And as for my near 16 yr old. He's the one with the shavers that my 13 yr old used. My son asked to have them for hygiene reasons (like cutting butt hair and such); Only way for her to have access to buzzers is in their bathroom. So I find it kinda funny).

Ideas on how to fix this? I have a feeling if I ask deeper questions to my kid, she may tell me if she really desired a buzz cut or if she only asked for one due to bad cutting on her part (and regrets it).

So if she really doesn't want a buzz cut, how can we fix this?
