Are you having visitors?

Are you guys having visitors right away? Like at the hospital? Limiting to a certain amount? Or what about when you get home, do you need a week to yourself? I just feel like im going to get overwhelmed with people trying to visit..

I don’t really like people 😩🥴 I will have my parents ofc & his godfamily who is the godfamily to all of our children but that’s about it. After a week or two, my husband can invite close relatives.

It’s our third baby and we need all the help we can get so yep, we’ll have visitors from the start (maybe not at hospital depending on when I deliver and what Covid protocols are at that time). But honestly, we don’t have that many people in our circle so it’s not going to be an outrageous amount of people or anything. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only get 2 visitors at the hospital and they have to be the same 2 people the entire time- planning on having my husband and mom there for the birth. My mom will stay at my place to watch our dogs until we get home then she will leave. We probably won’t have visitors other than my mom and step dad until the 1 month mark. We’ll see.

Waiting a week with this baby! It’s my bf first child and I want him to adjust and bond with baby and get the hang of things before we are bum rushed by family and friends. I also want baby to build up alittlw better immune system just in case. I also want to be able to sleep and heal somewhat before I’m having people over.

Me and my partner discussed it and Said when im in labour we will let his parents & my mum know... But we both discussed that when we welcome our little girl we want it to just be us. Go home as a family and adjust. Settle. Rest etc for a day. My family would just turn up otherwise so il be making it very clear. No unauthorised visits. I cant stand people just turning up! 
Shes here for keeps theres no rush on family coming to see her that very same day she arrives.  I find it all overwhelming and i just know i wont need that after having a baby x

My husband’s family is very close and involved with each other’s lives. So I feel like there’s a chance I won’t be able to escape them coming to the hospital or the house the first week. But personally, I rather wait a week

I’m allowed visitors at the hospital, but I am only telling my in laws and mom 😂 they will be the only people minus my husband/kids of course. Once we get home I’m going to tell people they can come over but I only want one group of people over per day. I also don’t want company to stay longer than an hour. My husband is actually taking a full week off of work this time. So I really want it just to be the 5 of us. If I could go back to when I had my first I would make these rules. We had way to many visitors at the hospital and then when we got home.

We're doing a home birth, my mom and MIL are planning on being there plus my best friend. Afterwards, we're letting my BIL's visit but that's about it. We live an hour away from most friends and family though so people aren't gonna be jumping to come over anyways.

We are not having visitors for the first 6 weeks, once bub has their needles and hopefully won't be as cold (winter here) then we'll let people visit.

My in-laws are watching my daughter and dog while I'm in the hospital. Besides that I'm waiting at least 2 weeks for people to visit. 
Last time I had people constantly in my house and I felt weird laying around talking about how awful I felt without having the confidence to tell people to get out. This time if people want to come over to help with house projects or drop off food I think that's fine early on. It's just socializing that I might not want right away.
