Buying overpriced clothes

Hey ladies,

I’ve been hit by the small shop baby/toddler clothes bug. With social media, you have brands like Little Bipsy thrown at you (adorable clothes) or you get a rush with a good thrift on Poshmark.

My kids have enough clothes, but then I’m like, “Oh this color in a shirt they already have, let me stock up for the next size …” and then of course, I fall victim to the trending patterns (like checkers or whatever it is). There is the slight panic that sets in of, “I have to get this, it won’t be available later on.”

How do I get rid of the feeling of “I need to get my kids this”? How do I beat the pressure to have really cute clothes from smaller companies?

I see a therapist for anxiety, so I’m sure talking about shopping addictions would be something for us to discuss.

Has anyone gone through this? If so, what did you do to beat the addiction and to not give in to social media pressures?

Thanks!
