Brown spotting.. 2 days before period and lasted 4 days. Anyone know what this may be? I’m usually a super heavy period bleeder and this never happened to me. I soak pads left and right and this is what i got instead. it’s basically all gone now.

Could be a hormone issue, age,weight,stress,medication etc there is many reasons for spotting for me personally I wouldn’t think it was implantation bleeding as it went on for days and also implantation bleeding is rare and extremely hyped up on here. How did you confirm your ovulation

Get an appt to see your doc and describe what you’re having. Could be normal spotting, could also be your progesterone is too low to allow for implantation! I let this happen for too many months before getting it checked out and regretted not going in sooner.

If you bled for several days then it’s not implantation bleeding - implantation bleeding is very rare. 
This just looks like normal spotting to me, but our bodies are weird sometimes and throw us through a loop and it could turn out that it was your period too. 
Mid cycle spotting is common.
