Baby #3

Me and my partner have 3 children between us. He has a 9 year old son from a previous relationship who lives with us and we have 2 daughters together.

We are planning baby #3 together and he doesn't want to know the gender, whereas I do.

He's said that as he's got both genders, he'd like to have a surprise this time but I've explained that as this is more than likely our last baby, it's likely my last chance to have a boy of my own.

I won't lie, I do have my heart set on a baby boy and I'm worried that if I leave it a surprise at birth that I'll feel a little disappointed if it's another girl and I absolutely do not want any negative feelings surrounding the birth of my child. I would like to find out early and be able to process in my own time.

At the moment we have said that I will find out but my partner doesn't want to know...

We found out the gender with both of our daughters and a little part of me does think a surprise would be lovely...
