“Just explain what you need to explain to him, establish a routine, let him know things may change & then include your care team. Let them know, “hey my husband needs a little more explanation & patience” when an emergency or any new changes occur. As medical staff they should know how to deal with him in that moment. (Even in emergency csection situations, they have time to explain to him what’s going on while they prepare him to dress out, they don’t just rush him out & drag him down the hallways ❤️) Go through this over & over again, & include him in everything from beginning to end. Hopefully that will make it easier & an enjoyable experience for both of you as you BOTH bring this baby into the world ❤️ also YouTube is great for all new dads, it let’s them see what to expect & some videos show where an emergency or something arises & how the staff respond to it! Good luck momma ❤️”
