Vasectomy

So I was wondering how effective vasectomies are and your experience so far if your partner has one. I always complain to my boyfriend about birth control because of the side effects and he always tells me to stop taking it and that we’ll be super careful that way I can feel okay and because of this I want to ask him to get a vasectomy that way we don’t have to worry as much because condoms obviously break.
