How do I know if im having contractions like what’s the big difference between them and BH ?

Braxton Hicks typically are felt up higher in your belly, and contractions you feel down low. Also BH can be really long like 2+ min or really short (30 seconds or less). True contractions typically are about 30-60 seconds long and stay that way.

BH will lighten up or stop over time, especially if you drink or lay down. True labor contractions will get more frequent and intense until the birth, and you cant stop them.
