Why don’t I wanna go further?

Hey so I’ve been having a little thing with this guy and he wanted to go further than just making out. And I told him that I didn’t feel comfortable with that which he did respect but he kept saying “you don’t have to be scared” and stuff like that (but he didn’t cross a line). Then I was wondering whether I was actually scared bc I don’t really know why I don’t want to. I don’t wanna care that much but I do. Does anybody know what I can do about that? Or did anybody feel the same?

Because you're obviously not ready and you don't want to. Him saying you don't have to be scared is pushy and you need to straight up tell him you don't want to go further and if he says anything else then he's pressuring you and that's not the kind of thing you want to be in or you're going to end up having sex when you're not ready and you're going to regret it.

You’re likely just not ready and that’s okay. Listen to how you feel. Even if you’re not scared you are not positive about it and that’s reason enough. I did feel this way and I was not ready. When I finally went further I didn’t have any doubts I knew 100% I wanted to do it.

a little update: i’m now with a different guy who makes me feel so much better. he never pressured me into anything and i felt super comfortable to go further. i’m very thankful i waited, so thanks for the advise :)

If you're feeling scared then you're not ready and that's perfectly fine! When you're ready you'll know, you'll be excited when you're ready. Take your time and when you find the right person and the right time you'll know.
