honestly curious what other people think. my mil and sil have this REALLY weird relationship with my husband. it’s a lot to describe but seriously gives me bad vibes. he still calls his mom, mommy and says it in this weird childish voice and it makes me physically cringe. i can’t stand it.

My brothers call our mom, mommy (we all do). My dad called his mom and MIL both mommy and my dad is like 69. He still calls them mommy when he talks about them (they’re both no longer with us). Not weird at all.

I want to say yes because I would cringe if my husband did it but my mom and all her siblings (there’s 4) call my grandma and grandpa mommy and daddy and their all in their 60s haha but I’m so used to it it’s normal from them.
