My parents said they don’t like my baby’s father.

For background context, I moved with my boyfriend and our six month old son to the state where my parents live so we could be close to them. We moved into a really nice apartment complex and everything seem to be going well that first few weeks but recently there has been a shooting and someone was shot and killed and then a week later another threat of another shooting and police are everywhere. Of course I’m terrified because I have an infant and I literally run from my car to my front door to my apartment so I call my dad and ask him to help me look over the lease to see if there’s anything we can do as far as breaking the contract. He assured me that everything was fine and that I was probably in the safest place right now because of all the police at our complex but I could come over to his house that’s five minutes away if I felt that I was unsafe. Fast forward maybe two hours later I get a phone call and my dad is yelling and telling me that we need to make things crystal clear about where we’re living and just being out right for to me about my partner. He said it was about a Facebook post that my boyfriend had made and I was confused because I didn’t know exactly what he was talking about. My boyfriend had put made a post about the shooting that happened and then the police again at our apartment complex and asking what’s going on. My dad and my mom took it as we don’t wanna be here anymore and if my partner doesn’t like it here then he can leave. I’m at total loss of words. I don’t know what to think of this but they said that they 100% lost all respect for him and I’m not sure what to do now. I feel like I’m being put in the middle and as the mediator trying to help each other understand the context that is missing and what it’s really the issue here. Has anyone else had something like this happen?
