Did anyone not have their mucus plug before labour?

I'm 39+6 baby is due tomorrow and despite Braxton Hicks coming more and more often I haven't had any other signs but she is my first so I've been warned they can cook longer!

My mucus plug didn't come out until after I was in labor and admitted to the hospital.

i’ve never lost a mucus plug and i’ve had two babies (one at 41.3 weeks and the second at 40.3 weeks) — currently sitting at 39 weeks with baby 3 and so far haven’t lost any of a plug yet and don’t expect to!

Started losing my plug around 35 weeks, had my bloody show at 38+3 and I’m still very pregnant at 39 weeks lol.

I’ve been losing pieces of my mucous plug and having contractions for two weeks. Never progress enough for them to keep me but I finally have my scheduled induction tonight at 6. I’m a first time mom and I’m 39+3 today. I never planned to have an induction but once the prodromal labor started I agreed to one pretty quickly. Good luck to you!

I lost mine but didn't realize I was in early labor. Lost mine almost 24 hours before going to the hospital just to get checked because I was having some pretty consistent period like cramping was all. Ended up being a 3.5-4 when I walked in and they kept me at the hospital. Little guy came about 12 hours after losing it total. I had been feeling awful and was in early labor before losing it though too. Good luck to you!!
