Was I being petty?
My husband took the week off work so he let me sleep in on Saturday and Sunday. The plan was for him to sleep in during the week (I’m a sahm). Monday at 4am his alarm went off and I told him to turn it off. He snoozed it so I told him to turn his alarm completely off. About 10 minutes later another alarm went off. He has alarms set from 4am to 6am. It’s annoying on some days but I don’t say anything because he usually gets up pretty quick. After the second alarm I told him to turn them completely off or I was not going to wake up with our daughter (she gets up at 6:30am). I told him this about four times before I gave up. He finally turned it off around 5:30. When our daughter woke up, I woke my husband up and told him if he wanted to come get me in an hour and he could come back to sleep then. He was pissed. An hour later he came back saying how wrong I was, that he was out of it when the alarms went off, and I needed to get up now. This isn’t the first time this has happened but in the past I’ve let him sleep and got up anyways because he works hard. I was just over it this time. I’ve had morning sickness the past week and still not feeling well so I decided to stick by what I said. To me, it’s disrespectful of my time/sleep. Was I petty and should apologize or was it justified? I know when he wakes up he’s going to have something to say and I’m not sure if I overreacted.
