If you did BLW, how long did it take for your LO to actually swallow food?

We started BLW around 6 months, and they were swallowing food immediately. Why wouldn’t they? I’m confused.

I started at 8 months and she swallowed food immediately

Answer

Started at 6m. 
She was swallowing from the beginning.
She was eating full meals by 8-9m old. Not exploring for most of the meal and swallowing in between like she was 6-8m. This is normal.
