Child’s father ok with not knowing the child

I was friends with this guy and we ended up sleeping together often and somewhat became more than friends. I ended up pregnant and he wanted me to get an abortion. I decided I wanted to keep my baby. He lives with me but makes it very clear he wants no parts of this new child. It hurts because he has two daughters that he takes care of and loves dearly but tells me they were planned and he was actually with the mother in a relationship at the time of conception. How can a person deny a baby that is apart of them? How can he be under me and live with me yet have no emotions about what I’m going through? It seems so selfish! Would I be wrong for putting him on child support?
