This seems like two separate issues. No one deserves to be robbed and victim blaming is always bullshit. But on a spiritual level I wouldn’t attend a church where the pastor made enough to wear 500k worth of jewelry. That reeks of prosperity doctrine which I feel is anti-biblical nonsense entirely contrary to the teachings of Jesus. Also if the Church is paying pastor that much (paying well is one thing…paying enough for jets and mansions and hundreds of thousands in jewelry is a completely different thing) they aren’t using the money to actually help people.
How do y’all feel about pastors/ leaders living luxurious ?
Recently a pastor was robbed at gun point in his church during a live service. The robbers took 500 K worth of jewelry off of the bishop .
No one deserves to be robbed. I have seen several comments saying that the bishop deserved it because he should not be wearing flashy items to church
