Which early pregnancy test are you using and on which dpo do you start testing?

So this is my first cycle ttc #3. 
I am wondering which pregnancy test brand you recommend for early testing and on which day you start testing? 
My first two pregnancies just happened and I didn’t even track my period back then 😅 
But since we already have a big age gap ( our son is 10 and daughter 7) I don’t want to waste any time. 
I used the clear clue advanced ovulation tracker, so wondering about the next steps now 😁

i highly suggest downloading the app femometer because they make it all really easy for me. i use their ovulation stuff but you don’t have to! (they tell you when to BD & when to test for everything)

I’m using first response and I don’t test until 9dpo. Saves money and heart break testing before 9dpo.

I’ve always used first response and start testing between 8-10dpo. I’m an early tester- you should wait until at least 10dpo

The easy@home ones from Amazon are my go to if I’m going to be using them a lot and then I usually have a 3 pack of clear blue or first response brand incase one of the cheapies turns out positive or has a faint line. We have a “triple check” pack at my local pharmacy and it comes with 2 regular tests and a digital in it. In all honestly about when to test, although lots of women do get early positives at 8dpo it is verrryyyy uncommon or they’ve ovulated earlier than expected. As hard as it can be waiting until closer to 12-14dpo is best, it’s soooo much nicer (and easier) just getting a clear line that you don’t have to stand on one leg and squint at to see.
