Formula shortage and rising prices

Do you think companies should be allowed to raise prices of formula during this shortage? My baby is on a specialty formula due to an allergy. The price of a small can has went up almost 10 dollars since this shortage began. On top of not being able to find it we’re having to pay absurd prices and it just doesn’t seem fair. Mind you, I’m not talking about individuals price gouging these are the prices everywhere (big box stores.)
