Bv at 5 weeks

so of course google is scaring me.. I just found out I was pregnant yesterday and i’m pretty sure I have bv.. I was going to the doctor wednesday for that reason and low and behold I took a test and am pregnant.. I have two kids so I know how it works but how does it work with having bv so early? i’ve already been spotting on and off so i’m terrified… how long can it go untreated before something can actually happen? will my doctor give me something safe to take?
