Missed miscarriage

Hi everyone. I think I’m having a missed miscarriage. I’m supposed to be 8w2d today and baby is measuring 6w1 day (same as last week, when should’ve been measuring 7w4d) and no heartbeat last week or today. I’m stressed and struggling on what to do. Doctor said i can wait it out for 2 weeks or get a D&C next week on Wednesday. I’m terrified of micarrying as I feel it will be very traumatic to see the blood and clots and tissue but at the same time I’m scared of getting a d&c because I feel like a part of me still has hope that everything is going to be ok. I’m thinking of getting an ultrasound on Friday at a private clinic for more peace of mind. Please any advice will be appreciated
