Can we all talk about the movie Titanic for a second?

I know some of y'all are gonna hate this topic so please save your opinion! It been my favorite movie since I was old enough to watch it (I'm 28 now)

So the kids are sleeping my husband has watched it with me more times than he would like to admit so I of course am like go play on the Xbox(because when their kids fall asleep they all get on and play together🤣) with all your friends I'm gonna watch Titanic.

So out of all the HUNDREDS of times I've watched it I never noticed Jack giving Molly back something after dinner as the men all leave to go to smoke and drink brandy and as Rose put it "congrate each other on being master of the universe". Then as Jack dismisses himself from the table he hands Rose a note...Molly Brown knew what he was doing, she helped him.

So my thoughts are that everyone in Roses life never payed attention to if she was happy like truly happy because everyone knew it didn't matter in their world, but because Molly was a new comer or "new money" she didn't have the same mind set as the rest of them and she saw the shift in Rose and how she acted unlike everyone else! So of course she was going to help! Especially based off of her comments to cal about "Are you gonna chew her food for her too there Cal" or "Sonny you know what your getting yourself into" and she gives Jack the suit she had originally bought for her son!!! Molly Brown is the silent hero of the movie and I feel like she definitely doesn't get the recognition she deserves like when the movies over and people talk about the movie and the characters and plot her role definitely goes unnoticed. at first glance she's just there to look like the loud mouth new bee who's blowing her money playing pretend trying to keep up with the crowd she doesn't fit in with! Especially since I quite literally mean I've watched this movie HUNDREDS of times and never really put it together till now!!!
