Dating scan notes should I be worried??

I had a dating scan today and the one notes were “IMPRESSION:
Intrauterine pregnancy of indeterminate viabilitv. There is a normal.
appearing gestational sac giving an estimated gestational age of 5 weeks and 2 days by measurements. No fetal pole is identified. However, fetal pole is not expected to be seen at the measured gestational sac size.”
Should I be worried I miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy??

Tbh this is why lots of doctors won’t do any scans until at least 6 or more weeks. It can be confusing and stressful to try to find something that just hasn’t quite developed yet since it’s so early. Remember, the baby is only about the size of a sesame seed during week 5!

At 5 weeks it’s too early to see a fetal pole likelyhood is they should bring you back in a weeks time for a further scan… try not to worry x
