Online booking confirmation?

Hi, 
Has anyone used the NHS 'My pregnancy Notes' to inform their local hospital that they're pregnant? 
With my first (3.5 years ago) I informed my GP who passed on my details to the midwives team but I've done it online this time round. 
How do I know when my details have been seen by my hospital? I'm only 3.5 weeks so won't have my appointment for another month but I'm worried that somehow it'll get missed and I won't be contacted.

I’ve never used an app, I’ve just self referred via the hospital’s online form and then received an appointment

With both of my pregnancies I’ve always self referred to the hospital directly and heard back within a couple of weeks either with a booking appointment date or a confirmation of receiving my details and information

I got an email about a week after applying online, saying it had gone through and to wait to hear from my local midwife team.
